Red City Developments and Salford City Reds ask for as much support as possible in favour of their new stadium development in Barton, Salford.

These plans have been subjected to a number of well publicised objections and proposed blocks. As such, signatures of support are needed from Salford City Reds supporters, Rugby League supporters, residents of the city of Salford and any other interested parties; to help give this project the final push it needs to be given the go-ahead.

The new stadium will secure Salford City Reds future and make them a genuine force in Rugby League.

The new stadium will help bring jobs to and aid in the regeneration of the surrounding area.

The new stadium's iconic design will be a centrepiece for the regeneration of the city and help put Salford on the map, by being able to host prestigious sporting occasions, events and concerts.

Therefore, we whole heartedly support this bid for the new stadium development at Barton, in Salford.

    • This stadium will give the City of Salford its rightful place on the sporting map, and will regenerate the City in terms of employment prospects and sporting success, afterall, the 'original' Red Devils have outgrown their current home at the Willows, and now need a modern stadium that befits the sport and their aspirations.

    • Salford has a long and proud history in the game of rugby league. The council must support the scheme for a new stadium to allow rugby league to thrive within the city and to give it an independant identity seperate from its overbearing neighbour.

    • Facilities such as this are far too attractive to knock back. Rugby League has too often in the past, neglected it's infrastructure. Now, we have a club who are very pro-active in this respect - anything other than positive encouragement would be positively negligent.
