I would like to grab this opportunity to express my views about Willie Revillame's suspension due to his action and comment in regards with the telecast of late President Madam Cory Aquino.
Before proceeding, this is what he said on live TV:
"Kung ganyan, pakita na lang natin 'yan. Kasi nagsasaya kami dito, tapos... Masakit sa akin 'yan, e. Nagsasalita ako dito... 'yan, please. Sana maintindihan n'yo. Nagsasaya kami dito, papakita n'yo sa amin yun ang... di ba? Hindi tama, e. Okey? Hindi ba?"
"Pangit! Hindi ho maganda sa atin. Nagsasalita, ipinapakita yung kabaong ni Tita Cory, hindi ba? Papano kami makapagsasaya, nahihirapan kami? I'm sorry ho, ha. Pero ako, totoo ako, e. 'Wag n'yo akong pagagalitan, kasi totoo ang gusto kong malaman...
"Pagkatapos ng show, ipakita n'yo ang gusto n'yong palabas. Kasi itong Wowowee, gusto ko... Hindi ba, at alam din ni Tita Cory 'yan dahil napasaya rin siya ng show na ito na laging masaya dito, ok?"
As a viewer (TFC subscriber) I don't see any mistake of what he has said on live TV. The passing of Madamme Cory Aquino is a total shock to everyone. Of course everybody wants to have a piece of information of what's going on as she is considered as one of the influential person in the world.
She has given us freedom and democracy. But isn't it what the late President has done for us?
She fought, bled, sacrificed and suffer to be able to say and have the freedom of speech not only for herself but FOR ALL FILIPINO PEOPLE.
My point is...Although Willie Revillame said this word on TV, that only means he is being true to himself.
They said that: HE SHOULD KEEP IT TO HIMSELF OR NOT ON LIVE TV. But why put it on secret?
If you said that what his action is wrong then Cory Aquino's main mission is just flowed in the water.
It doesn't mean he is a comedian everything he said is a joke.
I am totally with him when he said to stop the traffic and have it after they finish the show. Just like human nature instinct...you will hear bad news, would you rather laugh and be fake? Of course not!
He is sincere on what he said that day. But was taken out of proportion to some people because of his role as the funny guy.
If ABS-CBN has to do that telecast they should have move the time slot of Wowowee and have the full coverage that day.
Willie is just doing his job. Remember, he helped many poor people than what the government in the Philippines has done. That's fair enough!
Lastly, this support petition is for Willie Revillame. Like what he always say before he proceed his show... LIFE GOES ON.
Lesson learned: Be True To Your Self and I am saying this because I am TRUE and be true today.

- To whoever wrote this petition: are you out of your mind? Just review the video of the incident, and admit that Willie Revillame wanted the coverage of Pres. Aquino's funeral cortege be taken off the air because, according to him, it was interfering with HIS ability to have fun. If that's not arrogance, I don't know what is. Yes, his show may bring financial relief to contestants, but only at such a high cost to their dignity. Besides, it's not Revillame's money to give away, it's ABS-CBN's. We have enough trashy personalities on local media. We can certainly do with one less - by that I mean Willie Revillame.

- Tama lang noh! Kakalungkot wla si willie. Ang liit ng mga binibigay sa contestant. Sana cancel na lang nila yung show. Bakit kay Williw lahat ng blame? Paano naman sa kabilang station - nag eenjoy! Dapat patas ang laban. Magpakatotoo ka willie. I dont see any fault of what you did. Yung mga anti Willie eh stop watching Wowowee na lang but if I know nanonood pa rin kayo!

- Hi! I was just wondering why you waste your time supporting an arrogant person. C'mon, get real!!! The Aquinos have accepted his dramatic apology but if you'd read between the lines, Aquinos do not represent MTRCB, ABS-CBN and KBP... I'm not sure if you watch Wowowee everyday. If you do, have you ever observed or noticed how he treats his crew, the staff, the dancers, the contestants, the co-hosts and his guests? How dare you support this kind of person.
