We the undersigned, petition Ralph Topping, Chief Executive of William Hill, against the disgraceful dismissal of former employee Michelle Spurr, for simply becoming pregnant. And yet no action has been taken towards Ian Laycock and Stuart Ibootson of your Heckmondwike branch after their sexual discrimination towards Michelle Spurr. We believe that if there is no action towards these two disgraceful employees, they will simply carry on doing this, thinking that it is ok to treat their respective female colleagues in the same manner.

    • anyone found guilty of perpetrating an offence of this gravity should not be allowed to remain in their position of employment; any more than a convicted paedophile would be allowed to remain working around kids. William Hills by virtue of them doing nothing to the individual(s) in question, are as guilty by their complicity, as the person who committed this. They are therefore free to abuse their power and position of trust further. From a pragmatic point, don't the shareholders and purse-keepers of this company worry that allowing such things to go un checked, could and would, seriously undermine trust in their integrity? If not for moral reasons?

    • WILLIAM HILL should not allow his staff to commit UNLAWFUL DISCRIMINATION and let them get away with it. DISCRIMINATION seriously affects your life and your loves ones. The company as well as the people responsible of such awful act deserve to be punished.
