It is sad to know that our beloved ghost pine is going to be "KILL". We are group of former Maryknollers, and would like to discuss with the school and seek ways to save the tree. Please sign this petition to show your concern towards our beloved ghost pine, and request for a meeting with the school before the tree is being chopped down. Thankyou very much for your support.
Prof Jim (HKU) who is the top tree scientist in Hong Kong had already made an assessment in regards to the tree and the report shown that the tree is absolutely healthy with no risk in falling and should not be fell.
For any query or giving professional help, please feel free to contact forghostpine@gmail.com.

- The old pine has witnessed the growth of generations of Maryknollers, it certainly deserves our genuine respect. Please give the old pine a chance to live.

- The pine tree has been one of MCS's important symbols/landmarks, there is really no reason to kill it if it is professionally and scientifically examined and concluded as being healthy.
