Muslims today need a Medina. When the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) could not change the politics of Mecca and provide safety for the early Muslims he instructed the early Muslims to migrate. Today Muslim leaders cannot change the politics of many regions and provide safety to Muslims in many parts of the world but they can provide a safe haven, a Medina 2009.

This petition urges Muslim leaders to create and sustain a land that will accept all Muslim immigrants and allow them a place to live and prosper in peace.
