This is a petition to save the new CW Show Melrose Place from cancellation. We have all seen the ratings drop and the many websites predicting that the show will face cancellation at the end of this season but this is a show that deserves a chance.
We all know that the original MP got off to a bumpy start in its first season and because the network believed in the show it went on to run for 7 brilliant years.
Whilst the new Melrose Place took a few weeks to find its footing, this is a show that is now heading in the right direction and is turning in to the ultimate guilty pleasure TV series just like the original.
The shows DVR Numbers are also really high showing that people are watching (MP placed number 10 on the shows with the biggest increase in viewership through DVR by a huge 44 percent).
So please CW give MP a second season and give this great show a chance to flourish, and try moving its timeslot, team it with something a bit more grown up unlike 90210.
Lets get as many signatures as we can to show the CW that we want Melrose Place to stay.

- I am going on record as saying that Melrose Place is the best new show to hit the airwaves in a long time and I would be very very disappointed if the CW canceled it now. The show should change timeslots or air on a different day to see how it fairs and also give it at least another season to see if it will improve in ratings because the last few episodes that have aired have been classic MP! Please keep the show around CW

- Please give Melrose Place a second season. So many brilliant shows get the axe when they're not even a third of the way through their freshman season. Don't let MP be one of them. I honestly believe the facelift its receiving will help. With Sydney's murder solved, her killer dead and Violet leaving, we need more women to balance out the cast. They need to bring back Michael Mancini's little sister, Jennifer (Alyssa Milano) and his fourth ex-wife Megan Lewis (Kelly Rutherford) for Season 2 to help stir up some much needed drama. Other actress suggestions for guest roles: Amy Brenneman, Holly Marie Combs, Charisma Carpenter, Sarah Michelle Gellar, KD Aubert. Any number of them can convincingly play a vixen in disguise.
