Video Games are a form of artistic expression where developers unleash their theories and ideas into games to create a rich, enjoyable expierence for gamers and people alike. The ban on Manhunt 2 in the UK is a ridicolous decision which is creating an invisble dictatorship on the Video Games industry. This example by the BBFC is intolerable and as gamers we should stand up for the freedom of a developers to express there ideas within games. They wouldnt Ban a film with this content, they wouldnt ban a Book with this content. So why ban Manhunt 2 ?
Sign now to help lift the ban on Manhunt 2 and save the future of Developers freedom.

    • To ban freedom of expression in a work of fiction is a fascist act. Wouldn't it be better to ban works of fiction such as religious 'holy' books, given the violence they have created for centuries.

    • The media of games seems to be more heavily targetted than that of film - every media should be reviewed in the same light. This is a vote for freedom.

    • I except you would like to show guidance to what we can and cannot do, however banning this is censorship, this is 2007, not 1947.

    • This is an attack on freedom. I should be the one to choose to play this game or not. I thought the BBFC had grown up since the time it banned movies like "I Spit On Your Grave" (which is now available in the UK), I guess I was wrong.
