This petition is for the replacement of God Save The Queen as the national anthem with the inspirational hymn Jerusalem. Considering the Royal family has become all but obselete God Save The Queen has become meaningless. In a time were there is little or nothing to be proud of it is time to reinstall some of the qualities that made this great nation the envy of the world. With this song we can once again feel the sense of pride, courage and passion that made this nation great.

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountain green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among those dark satanic mills?

Bring me my bow of burning gold!

Bring me my chariot of fire!

Till we have built Jerusalem

- Jerusalem is a great anthem, it was sang at the Ashes and seems to be much better than God Save the Queen, in my opinion. Maybe this should be the national anthem when the Queen passes away.
