I am one of the millions of boxing fans who are hoping to see Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr, face each other in a mega-boxing event in 2010.

This fight MUST happen to settle, once and for all, who is more deserving to be hailed as pound for pound boxing king. Both are widely regarded as two of the greatest fighters of our time, but only one can be the King.

Recent developments in the boxing world lead fans to think that this fight may not take place. Rumors are roaming that Pacquiao will be retiring after the recently concluded Pacquiao vs. Cotto match.

Boxing analysts also believe the distribution of income that will be generated on the fight will be a big issue. Profit-sharing will hinder the agreement of both parties to come up with the match. It is said that Mayweather keeps on playing hard to get by demanding a more than 50-50 share.

Another thing, Pacquiao said that he is more than willing to give up his boxing career to give way to his political career.

Please dont let this fight become another What ifs in boxing history. Please give the boxing fans a chance to witness what could be the greatest and the wealthiest fight of all time.
