marijuana should not be illegal. the first laws on it were based on racism agaisnt mexicans because they didnt want them to feel welcome. then as jazz moved up north it took marijuana with it and racism started against them also so they made it illegal in northern states then all other states followd.the only reason it is considered a gateway drug is because its on the black marke next to cocaine instead of in walgreens next to tylenol. the government is using marijuana as a monopoly. there is legal marijuana without thc. but there is ONE company tht sales a drug marinol and its main ingredient is thc. this was a smart way for the govermnet to keep minoritys down. there is nothin wrong with marijuana other then the fact that it is illegal. the reason some are against it is because they feel only criminals use it witch is true because its illegal. i recently got a possession charge and im going to fight my case and i believe im going to win because no one has ever faught back in court but i will. the more signatures the better. im not doint this because i feel everyone should smoke weed because i dont. im doin this because those of us who do smoke, shouldnt be considerd criminals.
