  • Nothing compared to Monsters HD on Dish. Dish threw away a fantastic and enjoyable channel where one could see classic sci fi, horror and monster films in true 1080i high definition, unedited and commercial and pop up free. What a shame. I for one am leaving Dish shortly. Dish CEO Charlie Ergen is out of touch with his subscriber base and continues to pander to the lowest common denominator. Dish also gave up its single advantage over DirecTV. Dish gave up its ability to be unique as the VOOM channels (especially Monsters HD) is THE single reason I chose Dish over DirecTV. Unbelievable.

  • I dropped cable and signed up for DISH and the HD package to get Monsters HD. During the writers strike, the quality of programming fell to the floor... There were two, maybe three, movies running over and over. They lost a lot of viewers during that time. Recently, however, Monsters resumed regular programming schedule; I thought the "crap" was over. Well, I guess it is not. Monsters HD is no longer available! Were it not for FSTV, I would go back to cable. I have checked out Chiller, but it pales in comparison. First, it has commercial interruptions. Further, it is SD. The biggest insult: it is heavily censored so children can watch. I am currently trying to decide whether I should drop Dish and return to cable when my contract is up in August 08. What is left on DISH? Jewelery and Jesus: the religious channels... shopping channels...sports, sports, and more sports. The new HD lineup is family friendly; what is there for adults? Other than the sleaze channels? Nothing.

  • I would like MONSTER HD, RAVE, EQUIATOR and RUSH back. Those channels make a different between DISH and DIRECTV. CHILLER is good but is not in HD like MONSTER!
