Dear Mr. Patton and other band members of Mr. Bungle,

In a recent interview with Mike on counterculture.co.uk, we were shocked to find out that not only have there not been any stated plans for a new Mr. Bungle record, but that it also looks like the band might have broken up. Mike was quoted as saying that he thought "it is over."

The guys are spread all over the world and we don't talk to each other. I have not spoken to a couple of the guys since the last tour, years ago."

We believe that Mr. Bungle is one of the (if not the) most creative, extra-ordinary, interesting and, simply, best bands of our time. Anxiously, we have been waiting for a new album, or to hear of a new album, at least, ever since 1999 (when "California" was released), especially since we believe that it is still Mike's best musical project. Additionally, we also would be very sad to see it go because it was Mike's very first band!

All of us Mr. Bungle fans hope for "our" band to survive, and to be able to keep our hopes up for a new album in the future!

    • So if it comes down to one guys ego, kick the fvker out!!!! OR Seek a good family counselor. I know all the guys are eager to pursue side projects but Mike Patton yelling into a toaster oven isn't actually good music.

    • 35 hours in 7 days is a long time. Especially with school. 35 hours you ask. 35 hours of only mr. bungle. And if you include all mike patton bands and Secret Cheifs 3 than make it 41 hours. You cannot break up. I'm still not sick of the music at all and theres still much more to hear and the creative genious is stil in you. I see it through various side projects and even one more CD's can change the world the course of music and spark a whole new variety of music and a hole new popularity becaue music sucks now. DON'T GO!!
