We, the undersigned, are greatly disheartened by the GGNRA's plan to close our beloved Musee Mecanique. This unique museum has added an uncomparable piece of history to our city. It has served as a setting for many of our memories, and should continue to provide such.

We adamantly oppose your plan to close this museum. The GGNRA will be doing the public of this and future generations the greatest injustice by kicking the Musee Muecanique out.

We implore you to find a home for this beloved San Francisco treasure. We ask you to search for common sense and recognize these voices of the Bay Area before you throw away an important piece of history, forever.

    • Seeing this website reminded me of forgotten great memories of my youth.I live across the bay in Hayward,yet have not re=visited the attractions of the Cliff House area since November,1973,when I explored the ruins of the Sutro Bath House. Now recovering from breast cancer,I have the area at the #1 position of things to do when my post-surgery therapy is completed...thanx for giving me the chance to see it once again.
