Save San Francisco's Musee Mecanique

We, the undersigned, are greatly disheartened by the GGNRA's plan to close our beloved Musee Mecanique. This unique museum has added an uncomparable piece of history to our city. It has served as a setting for many of our memories, and should continue to provide such.

We adamantly oppose your plan to close this museum. The GGNRA will be doing the public of this and future generations the greatest injustice by kicking the Musee Muecanique out.

We implore you to find a home for this beloved San Francisco treasure. We ask you to search for common sense and recognize these voices of the Bay Area before you throw away an important piece of history, forever.

    • When I taught Film History, I took my classes to the musee. It accurately reflects the early culture out of which the film industry developed. History repeats itself with the video arcade. It is not only a local treasure, but a national treasure. Are these the same people who supervised the destruction of the fabulous 50's round drive-in on Van Ness to make a parking lot?
