Joe Robbie was one of the few owners who dug deep into his own pocket to purchase a stadium for his football team. It is shameful that he still does not have his name on the stadium, which he founded. We understand that the NFL is a business, and in order to survive, you need money. However, there is also tradition, which needs to be kept alive. The Miami Dolphins have said in the past that they honor tradition and it is a big part of the organization. Exactly what is this tradition? Joe Robbie is tradition. Joe Robbie Stadium is tradition. However, none of that is here anymore.
Pro Player is out of business. They no longer pay for the naming rights. The front office has said in the past that they will not just go after any business. They said they would look into each one and make sure they are financially secure. Well, it has been a few years now, and the stadium still begins with Pro Player.
By re-naming Pro Player Stadium back to Joe Robbie Stadium, a number of things could happen. It would boost both season and individual ticket sales. Playoff games will also be sold out. Many fans have been upset with the re-naming of the stadium and have kept quiet...until now.
We ask you, the Miami Dolphins, to please consider re-naming Pro Player Stadium to Joe Robbie Stadium. In the end, you will not regret it!

- Since "Pro Player" no longer exists it is senseless to keep the name. Either find a new corporate sponsor or bring back tha JR name.

- Why not bring his name back? Pro Player is a defunct company....it's just stupid to keep it named that.
