Petition: stand up for an intact Chinese vernacular education movement

We are concerned individuals who ardently love and support vernacular education especially the Chinese vernacular education.
With a heavy heart, we observe, read, reflect, analyze and try to understand the problems arisen from the New Era College dispute. At the same time, we hope too that all the parties involved would communicate rationally with the well-being of the New Era College and the Chinese Vernacular Education at heart, to look for common ground in the face of differences, and stand up for the intactness of the movement.
But, we are very sorry to note that instead of engaging in rational debates we witness mutual accusations being hurled at each other. It has escalated into seemingly a battle ground which is depleting internal resources and has harmed the intactness of the movement, disrupted the Chinese vernacular education and pawned off the future of the New Era College.
We stand firm and tall under tremendous pressures, but now we are being pulled apart into pieces by internal differences and irrationality.
Hence, we call upon all parties to listen and heed the societal voices and views, and for the sake of the movements intactness, the future of the Chinese vernacular education, and the advancement of the New Era College, stop immediately all forms of arguments and unilateral actions, convene explanatory meetings to openly pool ideas, and look for common ground and solutions, so as to turn the internally depleting dispute into a new driving force that propels the Chinese vernacular education and the New Era College to a new summit.
The Chinese vernacular education movement should not break up, cannot break up, and there is no reason to break up!
