Give Chris Weitz more time with New Moon!

As many of you know, Summit Entertainment wants "New Moon" to be released on November 20, 2009. This is too short of a time to work on it, seeing as they start filming in March. Many think this is why Catherine Hardwicke was fired from the film; because she wanted more time to make a better film, and Summit wouldn't give it to her. By signing this petition, you are saying that you want Summit Entertainment to push back the release date of "New Moon" so that director Chris Weitz can make a better film and not be crammed for time.

    • Summit: Please don't just see the Twilight movies as cash cows. Stephenie Meyer's fans really want to see the books get the justice they deserve. Please allow Chris Weitz more time to make the film, and maybe you could give him a bigger budget as well. Thanks.

    • New Moon should definetly have there date oushed back. Actors can't put the right amount of passion into acting under pressure.
