Governor Sarah Palin's vice-presidential nomination makes plain the irresponsible business practices and poor ethical choices of the Republican Party.

By failing to properly gauge Palin's fitness to step into the Commander-in-Chief position (should anything happen to the President) during this time of international unrest, the Republican Party has posed a danger to America's safety and security.

I do not support the Republican Campaign's sensational "politics first" opportunism.

I do not support Governor Palin's nomination for Vice President.

- Gov. Palin has a right to her views, but she, McCain, and their party are out of sync with a progressive society such as the United States. Unless the Republicans purposely want to go down in history as the political force that impedes American progress, I suggest that they get the hell out of the way and let the Democrats lead. Republican war profiteers can still benefit for many years to come - it is now time, however, for an administration led by Barack Obama to bring sanity, sound judgment and an understanding of the intent of our Founding Fathers back to government - to chart a new course for an optimistic future: free of war, conflict, climate change, poverty and disease and full of the promise of technology, social and economic advancement that only an Obama administration will be able to initiate at this point in time in American and world history.
