Dear ArtistArena/Overcast Kids organisers,

We, the undersigned, through this letter, protest the the idea of payment for meet & greet, and early entry for the Fall Out Boy Australia & New Zealand tour, and the price proposed for this.

Australian and New Zealand Overcast Kids are affronted by the requirement of paying up to AUD$250 for meet & greet or early entry, considering the fragility of the economy, and also the loss of both members jobs, and those of their parents.

We are merely fans who wish to thank the band for providing us with something to hold on to, and for giving us this Overcast Kids family; requesting payment for that privilege, although we already pay AUD$50+ to be part of this organisation, is against everything that we believe Overcast Kids to stand for.

We would prefer no one receive meet and greet or early entry, than for this to be decided by the amount of money one has at his/her disposal.

We demand, that this situation be rectified, and be made fair for all Overcast Kids involved.

    • The amount of money I've spent on fob is more than any amount I've spent on any other band and that's not enough, this 'offer' basically states if you're rich you deserve to push in front of people who plan on sleeping out for the gig, who are, in a word, WASTING their time for the band who has helped them most and these 'well-off' kids deserve more than people who are working two jobs just to afford general admission tickets and merch. Thanks a lot.

    • Once again, you're proving that you value money more than fairness. So, someone who is a platinum member gets less than someone who can steal daddy's credit card, despite one committing more time and perserverance to OCK? This goes directly against why you supposedly instituted levels of membership! Also, why is it that Australian members always get unfair treatment, especially when compared to Americans? They get m&g and EE just by joining. We're expected to pay (literally) hundreds of dollars. And now you wonder why so many of us are considering not renewing!

    • They already pay to be a member of a FAN club and now you're charging them a rediculous price to meet the band and get early entry. Not cool, guys, not cool!

    • Fans aren't those with money, they're the one's that believe. ANYONE who believes. They're the kids who are there 'til the end, the 'lifers'... You can't put a price on that.

    • If a band is loyal to their fans, they shouldnt have to pay to have a meet and greet or early entry. It is even a scam for them to pay to be in a fan club. Its a rip off. Im not in OCK and I am a FOB fan, and I am disgusted.

    • Let's all let the teenie bopper fans of This Ain't A Scene who have rich parents get to meet that band who they think is "lyk sewww hawt". And then let's let the kids who have cared from the start, the ones without the money, wait in the rain. Who cares about them anyway, right? ...no, I dont think so.

    • $250 is an insane price for a m&g. Yeah, it had that other stuff as well...but why include something signed when we'll be getting the boy's signatures anyway?
