Make a Disney Channel for Classic Shows

We are long time fans of your classic shows but due to adding newer shows on Disney Channel and Toon Disney Channel, most of those shows are no longer on anymore. On Disney Channel you used to have a nighttime block called Vault Disney which showed many of your old classic shows but now due to adding so many Disney Channel originals, none of the classics are on anymore. And on Toon Disney Channel, a lot of your classic shows left when newer shows came along, then when you started adding Disney Channel original animated shows and the nighttime schedule on the weekends became the same as the weeknight schedule, almost none of them are on anymore, plus your Bonus Stacks are also very bad for the channel as well. We would like it if you made another Disney Channel made just for classic shows like how Nickelodeon has Nicktoons and to show more of their classic animated shows and a few newer ones as well as those that were cancelled. Another example is Cartoon Network's Boomerang which shows their classic shows for all the fans of them. By making a Disney Channel just for classic shows, you would please a lot of fans. If you do decide to make a Classic Disney Channel, it should show both animated and live action shows for fans of both kinds. So please make a Disney Channel for fans of your classic shows, it would make a lot of us happy.

    • Personally, I would prefer that Toon Disney go back to airing classic Disney cartoons like they used to; that was the reason I wanted that station to begin with. All the changes that have been made to it have done nothing more than make it jump an ocean of sharks! I'd do anything for the old shows to be back on the airwaves.

    • I agree, I enjoy of the old shows more then I do most of the new. Even though I'm 21 now, I'd still enjoy watching shows from my youth and grew up watching.

    • I am 30 years old and I grew up watching the classic movies on the disney channel. It was great I watched the movies over and over during the month. I memorized the songs and very much miss not being able to see the movies anymore. I would definitely like to see a classic disney channel.

    • I think the idea of bringing back the old Disney shows is great. I'm signing this petition for myself and my older brother. I remember my brother telling me how much he loved old Disney shows like, "Ducktales," or "Goof Troops." I remember watching a few shows, but since Toon Disney added all the Disney Channel Originals and Jetix, those shows all disappeared. Which made me quite sad. I also miss the fact they kicked off The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. I am a huge Sonic fan, but I was unable to watch that show due to the fact I was born that year when it was released. (In other words I was born in 1993. But I know a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog, so dont be judging me cause of my age.) I was only able to watch that show by renting tapes, and watching it on Toon Disney. Now that's gone, along with other classic show my brother and I love. SO BRING BACK THE CLASSIC DINSEY CARTOONS OR AT LEAST MAKE A CHANNEL FOR THEM!!!!

    • I HATE it with a passion when networks acquire new programming and then cancel all the old programming. It happens all the time with networks (Nick-at-Nite, TV Land, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, TBS, ect.) and Toon Disney is no exception. Just when Toon Disney was added to my digital cable, that was when all of the old cartoon shows (which I grew up on as a child and a tween) got eliminated from the network. Now all we have on the Toon Disney Channel is this JTPIX thingy and a bunch of left-overs from the Disney Channel which neither appeal to me whatsoever. What attracted me to Toon Disney was the old Disney cartoons from the 80's to mid-90's. Now, I have no interest in Toon Disney. With that said, I am very disappointed with the programming department that is behind both The Disney Channel and Toon Disney. Both channels have become crappy!!!!! I don't watch them. Anyways, please whatever you do in the future .... bring us the classic cartoons back! They are sorely missed!!!!!!
