Bring Back the Glass Old Spice Bottle.

As a loyal customer of Old Spice products, I am disgusted by the change to a cheap plastic bottle. I am further offended by the fact that Proctor & Gamble has deemed it necessary to increase the price of their after shave & cologne, after lowering their production cost by switching to this less expensive bottle. Old Spice is more than a cologne, it is an American icon. It has attained its legendary status because of its reputation for being a quality product at an affordable price. This new packaging does little to honor Old Spice's legacy of quality. I urge Proctor & Gamble to bring back the glass bottle, and to restore this product to the quality it once had before it was acquired from Shulton. I will boycott all Proctor & Gamble products until this change has been made.

    • I second this notion. When I first saw the new plastic bottles, I vowed to never spend my money on your aftershave and cologne ever again. The "milk-style" glass bottles were nostalgic and legendary, why change it? I can understand shipping costs, but you also raised the cost of the products themselves. I truly hope you will reconsider. If not, I'm afraid you've lost a customer. There is much talk of this on the internet shaving and grooming boards, and it is a general consensus that they will no longer be Old Spice customers. I thank you for reading this and again, I truly hope you reconsider.

    • I love Old Spice! It is on my top ten list of fragrances. I have to agree with the rest of the people that have signed this petition. Plastic is not a good look for Old Spice. Plastic does not preserve cologne very well. Take a look at classics like Polo and Aramis. These fragrances are still being made in glass bottles. They are in glass bottles for a reason! Old Spice should have asked the buying public about the change from glass to plastic.

I dont even were oldspice anymore, i wear AXE because unlike their predecessor oldspice the dont change there signature series to be more "consumer friendly" I can not sleep at night because my morning are followed by tormenting cheapness and tretchory of filth!!!     • For the past seven years my husband has worn Old Spice. Not only have I grown to associate that smell with him, but I have always used the bottles as decoration around our bathroom & we have turned them into "our little thing" if you know what I mean. When he was running low on Old Spice, I went to get him a new bottle & discovered they had changed it to plastic. I went ahead & purchased it, not really liking the look but expecting it to be the same product. When I got it home he was outraged with me, wondering how I managed to screw up such a simple purchase. I explained to him the situation & his outrage changed from me to the company. When he opened it & used it the next morning, his anger grew. He said it smelt weaker & that it didn't have "that Old Spice burn" anymore & he threw it in the trash. So by spending a higher cost & getting a smaller amount of a worse product, we have decided not to purchase it again until Old Spice changes back to a glass bottle.

    • iam better of using citrus flavored pestacide on my face for the buring as it relates to the new old spice better the stuff in the plastic bottles are basically like a dull vitamin water with this grotesk color of kakhi collyfolower and fried butterlung with a hint of overpriced inflation. im not used to all this i want well proportuned product like those wonderful chicken cutlets like mom used to make the ones she cooked on the stove you knew what was happening by the way she said it's ready honey that kind of trust should not just be from mother to son but from oldspice to customer I WANT THE SAME SATISFACTION OUT OF MY OLDSPICE
