  • I believe the current slogan suggests West VIrginia cannot provide for itself. Maybe the state should focus on economic and business planning, instead of investing in temporary solutions (ie video lottery and gambling). Down with the slogan!!

  • I understand that West Virginia doesn't have the most sophisticated image as a state and that people want to change that image. But that is part of its rustic charm. No matter who you are, you feel like you're home when you visit this state because it is so comforting and untainted by the harsh realities that exist in other parts of the country. The slogan "Open for Business" just doesn't express what sets West Virginia apart as a state. That is the reason I think we should go back to "Wild and Wonderful." That slogan expresses what West Virginia truly is.
