    • I am an ADC Select Developer, and a Mac and Windows network/computer Admin. I believe the changes outlined in this document are imperitive if one of the many basic advantages of the MacOS over other Operating Systems is to be retained and grown.

    • I switched to Mac for the attention to detail, this would be a great compromise between mac functionality and file portability.

    • Metadata is good. Why not just append file extension in network operations.

    • I'm an amateur developer and works part time as a designer for a monthly magazine. I use MacOS because I feel more free and creative. Don't destroy that, Apple. More metadata is better, always. But it should be metadata, not extensions or the like. It's like replacing the icon with the "last modified" date. It's insane!
