We the people of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania call for a complete moratorium of all natural gas and oil drilling activities, including exploration, until a time when the processes involved do not affect the environment (including land, air and water) and the health of the population in any negative manner what so ever.

    • You are contaminating the water you have to drink, your air and your soil with gas drilling. No amount of money is worth doing that. Properties will go down in value and people will be sick.

    • I live a few miles north of Dimock, PA. While I would never lease my land to the gas industry, several neighbors have. The beautiful area I moved to 20 years ago is on the edge of being destroyed for what? Greed? NO FRACKING WAY!

    • Until the laws are strengthened, the loopholes are closed, and the chemicals are made known---a moratorium on gas drilling to protect our beloved state and its residents.

    • It is our right to clean air and pure water and to preserve the natural scenic, historic and esthetic values of the environment. Our Commonwealth is to conserve and maintain these rights for the benefit of all the people. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be fighting for the one thing taken for granted, our water. If the drilling continues and these chemicals are allowed to be released into our waterways, we as a people, our children and our grandchildren will surely suffer!! Please sign your name to this petition. Tell you family, neighbors and friends to sign. If you belong to any organizations, get them to sign. Together we as a people need to let our elected officials know we want action NOW!!

    • The environmental consequences are unknown at this time and no drilling should be done until they are.
