We the undersigned hereby petition the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to ammend the laws regarding bullying in our schools. The laws as they stand now do not allow for enough accountability on the part of the schools. This lack of accountability leaves the students at risk for the schools to dismiss the law. There are many schools across the Commonwealth that do not follow the meager policies they have let alone implement programs to prevent bullying.
We would like to see a law that holds the schools accountable and demand that they all suffer consequences such as a loss of funding for not following the laws.

    • I agree with this law, my son is picked on almost daily sometimes it gets to the point he is threatened. Been going on for 2 yrs now and nothing is done. The other day a bully tried to thow him over a stair rail and the school did nothing. They dismissed it as typical boy horseplay.
