We are writing to urge your government to do everything within its power to work for the release of Pirate Duck, the duck who was seized last week.

We hope that your government will devote as much energy and attention to securing Pirate Ducks safe release.

As you know, brave Pirate Duck's routinely undertake far greater risks than a visiting foreign correspondent, and with far less protection. Pirate Duck had a reputation as a good floater with a deep understanding of bread complexities. International attention to the situation in The Office depends on the work of local journalists.
