Cell phone towers are sprouting up all across the National Park System. But the National Park Service does not know how many or where they are. Instead, telecommunications companies set the location, size and number of towers in deals with individual parks.
The Director of the National Park Service needs to hear your voice. Sign the petition and pledge your support alongside Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) to remove the illegal construction of a 100-foot cell phone tower that overlooks Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park and help put an end to the proliferation of cell phone towers in National Parks.

- Please -- no towers in parks. We've done fine without them for this long.

- The parks belong to the people--not to the telecommunication campanies--at least they're supposed to. Aren't they?

- Cell phone towers have no business being in a national park. People go to national parks to see nature unimpeded by unnatural obstructions.
