Please restrict Pet Classifieds to Lost Pets, Found Pets, Pets Wanted and Adoptable Pets. Please seek a volunteer to monitor these ads before posting them on the website
Please restrict pets for adoption(rehoming) to people who have taken in a stray and wish to find it a home and for people who wish to place their own pets in new homes. Please only allow only individuals, rescue and shelter groups to post here. Please sit a limit on what a individual can request for a rehoming fee. This to will reduce the sale of animals. Rescue groups incur far greater expensive for some of their special needs pets therefore may need to ask a greater amount. With monitoring this could be watched more closely. Please create a form that they will have to specify a rehoming fee. Please have the option on this form so that they have to state whether they are a individual or a rescue group/shelter. If they are a rescue group or shelter please make it mandatory that they must register to the Craigslist site to post. That way this can be monitored. Please do something to stop the chaos that has become the Pet classifieds. Please become stricter with your pet polices so that pets can find safe homes. These are open request and can be altered by craigslist in whatever manner they see fit to stop the sale of animals on their site.
Monitoring these ads will prevent breeders from posting as rescue organizations.
Please stop breeders and sellers on craigslist.
