This is an open petition regarding the recent announcement of a local remake of the international bestseller, "twilight". We are asking the management of ABS-CBN to disallow the materialization of the "Twilight" series. This does not promote creativity and originality and would not only disgrace the said book, but would also disgrace the creative process of story making and telling. We are asking the said management to support original stories and promote Philippine culture. Stories made by Filipinos for Filipinos.

    • I am not a fan of the book or the movie. I am just sad because I am a Filipino. We are always branded as second-rate or underachievers but still we strive to be better. Well some of us are. But to ba branded again as a "manggagaya" is really depressing. Is this really the solution for a dying industry? What about the talents, imaginations of each you minds? Are they not the solution. Are culture is dying. And this networks are not helping. Filipinos are known to be creative in other places, but sad to say within our own homeland no support is given. Please stop making remakes. It is really really depressing.
