We fiercely condemn the brutal actions of Islamic Extremists in Pakistan for severely beating a seventeen year old girl after she refused to marry a high ranking official.

We hold Pakistani government and the Pakistani President, Mr. Zardari, accountable and demand that those responsible for this brutal attack on a helpless young girl be immediately prosecuted.

Given the wide media attention the young girl"s shocking story has received, we believe her life is in danger and urgently request the Pakistani government"s intervention to provide full protection to the victim.

In a global effort to pressure Pakistani government to protect human and civil rights, this petition along with all signatures and the video clip showing the torture of this young Pakistani girl will be sent to the United Nations and to other influential human rights organizations:

- International Court
- United Nations
- Human Rights Watch Organization
- Amnesty International
- White House, Attn: President Barack Obama, and Mrs. Hillary Clinton
- Pakistan Embassy in the United States
- American Embassy in the Pakistan

    • as a 61 years old PERSIAN woman have always been suffered by brutal laws of ISLAM during pre/post 1979 dark revolution, Iranian women feel sympathy with their Afghani/Pakistani sisters.

    • As a father of two daughters, this is a quite shame to me to see such nutorious and stupid torture against a young girl in Pakistan. This should bring a shame to all Muslim communities and Islamic Nations as well as American government who recently agreed to help Pakistani government with $1.5 Bilion. Part of this aid might be used to help Pakistani extremists rather than promoting human rights and liberties. Such an act is also a shame to the U.N. and its Human Rights institutions and activists.
