Recast Prince of Persia Flick Now!

This petition is for all who were completely disheartened by the choice of Jerry Bruckheimer (the directer of the up and coming Prince of Persia flick) to choose Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton to star as the main characters of the Disney backed cinematic production based on the popular video game. While we believe that Mr. Gyllenhaal has superb acting abilities, it is our belief that he is not the appropriate choice for a "persian prince." He neither looks the role nor fits the description of the character of the prince. Avid gamers and fans of the POP series would be sorely disappointed with this choice of leading man. We believe that an actor such as John Abraham, who fits the description of the prince to a T, and actually has persian roots, is a far better choice for the role of the prince. And as far as the female lead goes, there are tons of beautiful actresses in Bollywood who would fit the bill perfectly, as in the video game the princess is actually an Indian. We have made this petition solely based on the hope that the producers will consider recasting the lead roles.
