Are you the Author?
As any Harry Potter fan knows, the life of Harry Potter is only to span his seven-year stretch at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Any fan would also have to agree that we would love to see this series go past number seven. We want more! We simply cant get enough! We do not want this journey to end there. We want to see Harry become the Minister for Magic, Ron become an superb Auror, and Hermoine Headmistress at Hogwarts (for example only) We do not want to see Harry die by the end of book seven as you yourself have suggested. We want to see him go on, grow, and become the greatest sorcerer in the world. J.K., you have given him and his wonderful world selflessly to us. It is your blood, sweat and tears which pour onto the pages. You made us love him and the world in which he lives. We want Harry to live, and we want you to keep writing his fabulous story for years to come. In the end it is up to you as the author and we do respect your decisions. But We would rather see a Harry Potter book every five years than not see one at all. You can take the time for your life and family, and other prospects. We are not asking that you devote yourself only to us. We are not trying to be selfish and are not asking that you work yourself to the bone. Harry is our hero. He is "The boy who lived" Please do not take that away from us! We are your true and faithful fans... As long as you write them, we will be there to read them!

    • What will always be the important thing, are the books from which these stories originate. Even if it had never been a movie, I would still be a fan. I have read all five books over and over again. It is an absolute shame that only two more books are left until it ends. My heart wrenches every time I think of it. Harry Potter and his band of allies and foes have become an inspiration to many children and adults throughout the world. All who are fans of these books would have to agree that that at some point they have wished that it were true... that this world that we love so much was real and that we too could be a part of it. We do not want to see all of his efforts just to stay alive be in vein. For him to be destroyed would be the destruction of every child and fan I know.     • I love the Harry Potter books and would not want to see them go away. But perhaps instead of keeping Harry alive and telling more about him, she could write books about the other characters, before and after the HP books.

    • Even though I know that the series has to end eventually, I really, really, really, really, really want to see Harry's adventures go on. I want to see how people react after the 7th book (not that I know what happens) but these books are so unique and the most creative series I have ever read in my entire life. It would be a very sad day indeed if the 7th book comes out and thats it. Nothing more than just a memory of an old book series that no one will really remember well enough to recall all the suspence and action that took place in a wonderful school that everyone wants to go to. It will be just a faint memory, and... THATS EXACTLLY WHAT I DON'T WANT TO HAPPEN TO ME! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE continue the series. I begging you. PLEASE! DON'T STOP! I DON'T WANT IT TO END! This is too fantastic to lose. If you do stop at Book Seven, I respect your decision. I'll just make my children and grandchildren read it and watch the movies. BUT I STILL DON'T WANT IT TO END!

    • i love the harry potter books soo much that ive read them all over 8 times when im reading its like a little movie playing in my head and i cant tere away from the pages i even did a marathon to see how many times i can read the harry potter books in 2 mounth 3 times each 1.2.3.4.and 5 and i dont even own them! the libraan at my school cut me off and said i had to read other books! and still i go to the public libarry to read theam and if they end at #7 i dont know what ill do with my self

    • if you don't continue the books, think about how many dissapointed people there will be. I just happened to get my friend into it even though her parents don't let her read hp. She has read all the books more than once and loves the movies.
