We feel that Red McCombs is a carpet bagging huxter out to move the Vikings to another state. THEREFORE we are collecting signatures to urge Billy Joe McCombs to sell the team to a local owner, or to the Vikings fans.

    • Moving the team would be a big mistake. You don't care about football, and you certainly don't know anything about football. Sell them to the state, or to a local private owner, who cares about the team and the fans. There is loyalty to the team among many Minnesotans, and if the team were owned by the public, the possibiities would be endless. Look at Green Bay! But you will never turn a profit while you own the team. You're viewed too unfavorably by the public, and Minnesotans don't want to put their money in a used-car-salesman's hands-- especially one who threatens to take away the team at every bump in the road to a new stadium.
