We will no longer sit silently as you slowly destroy the intuition which we all love and care very deeply about. The path the school has been taking is unacceptable to us and as long as the promises which were made to us are broken (i.e. the complete separation of divisions) and if you continue to let go the teachers whose only real offences were trying to hard to make sure every student was a Regis вman for othersв then we the undersigned will not donate a dime to the school and will do all in our power to influence our peers to do the same.

- I just want it to be more like the old days. Sometimes change isn't good and this isn't the school I signed up for.

- As a member of the class of 2004, continuous promises were made that the schools would remain seperate. Yet we still fear and your moves justify our fears of a joint school. Don't do it or there will not be dime one from the class of 04.

- I wasn't thrilled when they decided to expand into two seperate male and female instituitions, but coed classes defeats all that I gained from Regis. To truly be one with your class as brothers I felt it was essential to remain as a non coed school. I accepted that women need that same right as we men have had, but I do not and WILL not support co-ed classes. Even if enrollment for the class is low find a way to keep it non coed. Also the loss of Mr. Henderson, probably one of the greatest teachers i've ever had the privilege of having, is an atrocity. I can think of no other teacher or staff member that truly felt and strived to make me a man for others.

- My brother (class of 2009) tells me stories about what Regis has become. It sickens me. Regis will not get a single cent from me in the future.

- This is unaccepteble and I am becoming less and less proud of attending Regis. I may as well have gone to Mullen.

- After hearing the changes that have occured since my departure, I must say that I am very disappointed. Regis Jesuit High School was important to me. It helped to shape my moral and societal development for many important years of my life. It presented me with academic strength and responsibility. Now I find that the same standards are not being upheld for future generations. In your zeal for improvement and progress, you have forgotten who you once were. Please, return to the Regis we once knew and loved. I understand that you wish to provide new opportunites to more people as time progresses. That is fine, but please keep in mind the traditions which made Regis something unique. Thank you.

- I loved my experience at Regis Jesuit, however, I feel the idea of Regis I have is not a reality anymore because of what I have heard from the younger alumni and the experiences I had during my senior year. Moreover, this hurts me to say but I do not want to return to a place that once stood for so much and carried so many traditions but has so easily fallen victim to the dollar.

- I'm a current senior but I wholeheartedly agree with everything this petition is trying to do. I hope that not yet being an alumnus doesn't keep me off of it, because alot of the upperclassmen this year are also outraged and feel the same way.

- When I entered Regis as a freshman and was able to look and the upper classmen to see what the school could help me become, it was inspiring and provided me with unending hope and excitement. What I have seen and heard about what Regis has become devastates me. These kids are no longer getting what Regis Jesuit High School is supposed to provide. The brotherhood that this institution used to ignite in the young men that attend is perishing. I will not accept or support any further deviation from the tradition that is Regis.

- Regis was without a doubt the best place I could have gone to school and I hope that you do not let the tradition that made it great die.

- From the class of 05, things have already changes so much. Its hard to differentiate from other schools in the area. Now Regis doesn't have the elite status it once did.
