- Why interested? Neighbor/ in arts/ like building/former resident/ concerned citizen, etc?
- former resident, in arts, concerned citizen, like building, love neighborhood, think it's inappropriate in any residential zone to have a columbarium.
- Additional Comments -- feel free to add your thoughts
- This should not be allowed. The zoning law should be changed so that Cemetery/ Mausoleum/ Columbarium is "not allowed" in ANY residential zone in Chicago, except small columbaria already established in churches.

- IMO, this is tatamount to a cemetery. This doesn't belong there. Also, far too many questions have not been answered such as security (grave sites are often robbed) and parking for memorial services to name a few.

- The building was very unique in functioning as a residence for artist and it functioned very well to build up networks internationally, as a cultural meeting place for the neighbourhood and all its other possibilities it had to offer it was a very popular location and I still think it's a loss that it's been redeveloped also because of the historical value of the site. Not using the quality of the building and the multiple functions it used to house would be a shame. A columbarium or any other function that would exclude the multiple usage the building used to have should be ruled out!

- Concerned about adverse effect on property value. There was no large burial facility across the street from my condo building when I purchased in 1998. If there had been, I would not have bought the condo. To allow a large columbarium opposite an existing building is unfair to the residents and economically damaging.

- I do not want a columbarium to be housed in the 3 arts club. It will cause traffic conjestion and property values to go down and the columbarium sounds like an awful medical procedure... ...... I dont want a funeral parlor across from my lovely building

- It is so sad that the Three Arts Club is not open for residents anymore. It served a great need. I'd move back to Chicago if it opened again. It was such a great "starting point" for women to meet others new to the city and to network with artists. Apartments cannot fill the void!

- The proposed columbarium and cemetery facility is disconcerting to and considered to be an outrage by a meaningful portion of the neighborhood homeowners who are most directly impacted. The residents who are in place should not be exposed on a daily basis to this type of negative experience that is attributed to a new objectively controversial and questionably permissible business use within the community.

- This is a residential area. Commercial uses should not occur in the nighborhoods. We have enough commercial space that is vacant. This type of business belongs in a commercial setting.
