    • Why? Why would you people do this? You're going to make it rated PG13, aren't you? And change Shuya's name to Frank. And give Kiriyama monlogues.

    • Please, no more remakes. I'm noticing with the current remake trend that absolutely none of the films are interesting twists on the original subject matter, rather they are pathetic, shallow ripoffs. American remakes of foreign films feel even worse as I believe they are made to shadow the original as much as possible. Can reading subtitles really be that difficult to the point where we have to remake the films with an all-American cast?

    • What's the point of remaking a movie that's already good? You might aswell just release the Japanese film as it is to the USA. That way, you can save money and still earn.

    • To the executives at New Line Cinema: Please try to come up with somthing original instead of remaking things that have already been done...The original Battle Royale is fine the way it is , and there is no reason to waste time and money remaking (more like destroying) something that has already been done...

    • My God, doesn't Hollywood have ideas of their own? Stop ruining perfectly good Japanese Cinema! The second they cast Paris Hilton as Mitsuko (Misty for us 'merican) I think I'm gonna begin my conquest of the world by destroying Hollywood first.

    • Battle Royale is a work of art that should have never been touched by remakers. So what if you can't release the original here, don't remake it because you're ruining a classic film and are hurting millions of fans around the world.

    • First give the american audience a fair chance to see the original movie in their own language (No official RC-1 release yet!!!!), before "westernizing" the whole concept. It's a most arrogant way to slander the memory of deceased Master-Flimmaker Kinji Fukasaku.
