This petition is for all gamers out there that have had their gaming experience for many games such as Call of Duty 4, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 and Battlefield 2142, ruined by Even Balance and their pathetic attempt at anti-cheat software, Punkbuster. One of the most problematic peices of software to ever be written.

This petition aims to remove Punkbuster from certain games, and replace it with a better anti-cheat program that actually allows legit players to play their games, without trawling through 100s of forums and online chat applets, spending months trying to get it to work, only to find that it's not going to.

- punkbuster f*cks up all of the game it is in, and i'm sick of spending months trying to find out how it works! remove PB, it's crap!! I don't spend money on games just so i can visit hundreds of forums so i can TRY to play the games online, what doesn't work!

- PB is terrible, it should never have been allowed to infest so many games. It has ruined certain aspects of gaming for me to the point that I have removed them from my system and destroyed the disks.

- Punkbuster is a programs that scans your whole pc and uploads the file names etc. to a master server run by the govt. Uninstall it now and contact the game companies and let them know you are not going to support an anti-cheat program with an agenda other than doing its main purpose. Which it does not do.
