Hello,
I am trying to create an original television show based on Mall retail stores that will be both clever and funny. It will showcase a diverse background of characters in a sitcom that would be filmed in the same manner as "Friends, Two and a Half Men, and That 70's Show", but will hopefully be Canadian in nature. Because of the state that Canadian television is in and the sheer amount of sitcom ideas that are being sent in the many Canadian networks, my idea seems like quite a big risk.
I have created this petition to show the networks in Canada that there is and will be a demand and an audience for such a show and that it is worthwhile to invest in our own Arts and Entertainment. Your support is greatly appreciated and extremely humbling.

    • I whole heartedly agree with this statement. American television dominates the market so entirely that the CRTC has to mandate a certain percentage of television programing must be Canadian. This means that the Canadian government realizes that our own nations culture and broadcast entertainment is in danger of being dissolved that they feel they must mandate more Canadian shows. Keep pushing Undersigned.
