    • Not only are the Jordanaires the best and most important Vocal Harmony Group ever, but I had the opportunity to meet them and they are really sound, down to earth people too. The word legendary is overused but for these guys it is fitting. They still sound great today with original members Gordon Stoker and Ray Walker perfectly complimented by Louis Nunley and Curtis Young.

    • Not only were they the sound behind Elvis, their harmonies also shaped the hit songs of many others. Their work with Ricky Nelson, Patsy Cline, etc etc is legendary and undeniably played a big part in the Sound that made the songs so timeless. Above all, their work went on to inspire all the generations to follow, including the Beatles who credit learning how to harmonize through listening to The Jordanaires singing on all their hits with Elvis. And lastly, they had sucess on their own, with their own albums, in the Rock, Country and Gospel fields.
