My fellow gamers, I am sad to inform you that it has been confirmed that the upcoming RPG from Piranha Bytes will be delivered with a DRM system. This is basically a very intrusive method of protection that has been openly criticized by customers of the games that were using such protection

This petition is not in favor of the game not having a copy protection, but against DRM specifically.

By signing this you join our protest against this abusive method and state that there is a big chance that you will not buy the game if it is going to be used.

    • Any DRM other than serial-keys will ward away potential customers. Stardock really rakes in the money without DRM. You should reach for the respect of the customer by supporting your product (patching, addons, maybe even expansions) and the product's community itself. The buyer will feel good about his purchase and the pirate may be convinced to purchase it himself.
