Ladies and Gentlemen of The University of South Carolina:

It has come to my attention that our beloved university has honored, and continues to provide a forum, to a known domestic terrorist, William Charles Ayers. I am embarrassed that we have bestowed upon this murderer the title of "Distinguished Scholar".

More exonerations can be found here --->> http://www.ed.sc.edu/museum/ayers.html

I am asking that the University of South Carolina renounce this honor and publicly rebuke the actions of Bill Ayers and his 1970s group of terrorists.

    • No public school teacher would be hired in S.C. with such a background in violence as that of Mr. Ayers. However,Bill Ayers has been elevated to high levels of leadership, prestige, and enfluence at USC School of Education. This is sad and hypocritical!

    • My wife,Paula Carter, would like to make a spelling correction of the word influence written in her line 22 comment. She feels ashamed of this since she is a teacher. However, USC should also feel ashamed of allowing Bill Ayers to INFLUENCE our future educators of America!!

    • Instead of being elevated to "Distinguished Scholar" here at USC, he should have been tried for treason! Bill Ayers' using violent, militant, actions to bomb a judge in order to disrupt Due Process, one of the cornerstones of our democracy, are not the characteristics of a person who our faculty or trustees should be celebrating. His status should be revoked at once, any connection to our university be severed, and this removal publically acknowledged.

    • South Carolinians do not want an admitted, unrepentent terrorist like Bill Ayers teaching education to our college students.
