On Monday, April 14, 2008, Richmond City Council unanimously agreed to spend $10,000,000 towards celebration events during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in February 2010.

We, the undersigned, believe this to be grossly excessive spending of Richmond taxpayers money, and call on Richmond City Council to reconsider their decision.

    • I think this is a disgusting waste of tax payers dollers especially when there are so many needy community groups that could use a portion of $10M dollars.
