Dear Viz Media LCC,

We, the many fans of Pokйmon, were ecstatic when your company announced a reprint of the Pokйmon Adventures manga series (Known as Pocket Monsters Special in Japan), especially as said reprint has now extended into recently unpublished volumes such as the Gold/Silver/Crystal Chapter and has branched off into the separate Pokйmon Adventures Diamond/Pearl/Platinum series covering the Diamond/Pearl and Platinum chapters of the original Japanese release, and the planned Pokйmon Black & White series, which will no doubt shorten the gap between the fans in Japan reading the latest chapters, and us doing the same.

However, since the last chapter of the GSC chapter has reportedly been moved from its original place in volume 15 (the first volume of the Ruby/Sapphire arc) to volume 14 (the final Gold/Silver/Crystal volume), some doubt has now been cast over the future of the Ruby/Sapphire, FireRed/LeafGreen, Emerald and perhaps even the HeartGold/SoulSilver chapters. If these chapters are not translated and released into English, it would cause plot holes in future volumes and would no doubt anger a lot of the franchises older fans, who have already had to fight for the GSC arc.

Responses from the company have stated the ambiguous No plans to release them, and some seemingly even asking for proof of demand. We, the undersigned, respect the need for the more recent chapters to be printed to appeal to the newer fans, and to be up to date; however, we also hope that this important era of the franchise is not forgotten.

Please Viz Media, dont let the fans down by not releasing these volumes.

    • Please release, there will be TONS of plot holes, especiallly at the end of the last volume of Pokemon Adventures Black and White. It's not too late to release them now...

    • Dear VIZ Media, I have just found about the Pokemon Adventures Manga a couple of months ago. And I absolutely loved it, even though I read the Japanese-translated-into-English manga. I have just recently bought all the Pokemon Adventures books spanning from Volumes 1-14. I know lots of people like the Pokemon Adventures manga. And I believe, along with many others, that the Ruby/Sapphire, FireRed/LeafGreen, and Emerald arcs of the manga are the best out of the whole series. And also, many are waiting in anticipation over the HeartGold and SoulSilver manga, which has been released through several magazines there. So please consider the request for publishing the Ruby/Sapphire, FireRed/LeafGreen, and Emerald arcs. It would definitely help carry on the storyline in the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum parts of the series. And perhaps, once the HeartGold/SoulSilver manga scans are released, all in their original order, maybe you could translate that too. Please consider this petition and the undersigned; almost all of the people signing below have read the Pokemon Adventures manga.     • I want to see all the arcs! Hurry and work on translating the Ruby/Sapphire Arc, the FireRed/LeafGreen Arc and the Emerald Arc. Don't just keep publishing the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum Arc and the Black/White arcs! In order to keep the fans happy, you guys should work on translating the books they ask for to be translated and published. A good start to appease the fans of Pokemon would be to start translating the Ruby/Sapphire arc, and then working on the FireRed/LeafGreen arc and finishing the story with the Emerald arc. Personally I want to see the Ruby/Sapphire saga and then I want to read the FireRed/LeafGreen and the Emerald arcs. Viz: If you don't want to lose money or lose the fans that have stuck with you so long; I suggest ACTUALLY finishing the arcs you have yet to translate. Hurry up and get to it, WILL YOU!?

    • I honestly think them not releasing the missing arcs will create plot holes in future arcs... Especially in the DPPt arc, what with Sird appearing and etc. PLEASE RELEASE THESE ARCS! I've already bought all of Viz's releases of Pokemon Adventures, and I won't hesitate to buy more if available.
