    • After doing 30/40 shows with Ronnie,Steve and Cassie and the rest of the gang in the 70`s, and being in the Dickey Betts and Great Southern Band and seeing and hearing the power Lynyrd Skynyrd possessed they damn well deserve to be in the Rock Hall of Fame.

    • The REAL Lynyrd Skynyrd band does belong and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Their place is secured already. It's those "blood-suckin' wanna-be's" pretending to be something they're not thats kept the real band out, people! Ronnie Van Zant WAS Lynyrd Skynyrd. "The Remains" using the name now are just a poor excuse for a tribute band. The way they have treated their former bandmates they don't deserve to stand on that stage and accept the award! Allen Collins SPECIFICALLY chose Randall Hall to stand in for him. Where is he now? Artimus Pyle was the best drummer the band ever had. He went for help after the plane crash. He's the reason some of those people are alive today! What did they do to him? Ed King is one of the best guitar players the band ever had. Where is he? What does Ronnie, Steve and Allen have to say? Oh, that's right they're dead. Well, how can the current band be called LYNYRD SKYNYRD? HMMMMMM$$$$$$$. We think we'll start calling ourselves- The Beatles or The Doors or The Mammas &.....

    • Lynyrd Skynyrd was responsible for bringing "Southern Rock" to the forefront of FM airplay throughout the late 70's .Skynyrd was as much to FM radio as Zeppelin or Aerosmith.If they have a place amongst the all time greats, then so should Lynyrd Skynyrd !
