This petition states that everybody who signs this agrees that we should have a skate park in the city of Santa Ana. When you look out at the streets everyday there is always going to be a skater there, and your police men are getting mad at us for messing up your property. So, if you do build this skate park for us not only will it keep half of these kids away from drugs and off the streets, it will also stop the calls you guys get everyday for kids like us skating on your property.And there is not many skate parks here in Orange County there is already one in the Santa Ana Park but that it is in a somewhat bad area, and most parents would not like their children there.So I am asking to place this park somewhere around 17th street. But, I do not want to limit this park only to skaters, because there are also many bikers, people that use scooters etc. So by building a decent skate park it will provide half the kids in Santa Ana a place to do what they enjoy doing.Without worrying whether they are going to get in trouble. Now I wouldn't want this place filled with kids getting hurt out there,so i am saying at least a helmet is required.

- i have the same problem in nj we used to have a sk8 park but it got closed. i hope u get ur park im still trying to get essex county leaders to make another sk8 park.

- if there is no sk8 park in town the town is a sk8 park also if there a high ammount of sk8rs riding the streets unsafely instead of safely at a sk8 park with people watching then they have a higher risk of getting hurt which will be an imperfection of the town or county.

- If you're going to kick us out of everywhere, atleast give us a fair and fun sanctuary to skate and at. It's important to give us, the people, what we want, and this is something benneficial that many people love. You should realy reconsider.
