The Oklahoma State Fair Speeedway is in danger of having held it's last race after 55 years of racing. The fair board and the city council want it demolished for new improvements at the Fairgrounds as part of the MAPS3 proposal. A proposal that made no mention that the track would be a target if passed.

The excuses that being used are just that. Excuses. Please as a fan of the track please digitally sign the petition, so we can in numbers show the city and the fair board what this place means to us not only here in the metro, but across the state and around the country.

    • Please reconsider the decision to demolish this historic venue. This facility is one of a kind and it would be a shame to discard it because the obstacles were too hard to overcome. My belief is that this decision is the easy one, but not the right one. If other options have been explored, please disclose that information for all to review and consider.

    • We would like the same consideration that the 89ers got. They had fewer in attendance than State Fair Speedway got, but they received a new Stadium??? The horse association received new buildings and upgrades. We have a new facility for Pro Basket ball, and now the City has found the funds to keep hockey. And we get the wrecking ball? This is biased and completely unfair to all of the fans!
