We, the signed, are players, GameMasters, and fans of the d20 Star Wars Roleplaying Game, developed by Wizards of the Coast. As signers, we declare that we are devout fans of d20 roleplaying, this game, and the Star Wars universe. As such, we agree that the game is extremely fun and provides a lot of value to its players and fans. We also agree that there simply isnt enough new material being released for the game. While we appreciate official support from the official Star Wars RPG website (in the form of online web enhancements and downloadable content, Jedi Counseling, etc), we have an intense desire to see new sourcebooks and printed material developed thoughtfully and printed for this wonderfully awesome game. We feel that Wizards has a lot of great potential for the game, but that if they are not willing to build on it, this thing we have come to know and love that is the Star Wars RPG should be passed on to someone or some organization that is prepared to actively continue to take it in the direction it deserves and along a road of developmental progress.

Furthermore, we recognize WotC's effort to carry on the franchise with the Star Wars Miniatures endeavor. While some of us may disagree on that avenue's merits or worth - some of us like it and play it, some of us hate it, and some of us use them for the RPG and not the new game it presents, etc - we ALL agree that some serious focus needs to be redirected BACK to the SWRPG system.

Signers: Please feel free to add your comments and specific concerns. You are asked, respectfully and rightly so, to keep your comments short, to the point, clean, mature, and developed. In other words, keep it constructive. Speak like youve been given a choice to make your wishes as a consumer heard you have. Thank you, in advance, for your signatures.

    • There were a lot of really good books, some not so good ones. But the system is a great one, has received a lot of really good support. Now the printed materials have just dropped off. Let's get it going again! There's a whole new movie's worth of material to add, and much more things that should've been covered!

    • Star Wars is such a huge and rich universe. a minis game truely does not do it the justice an RPG does. the fact is to abandon the RPG for the minis game is to abandon the unvierse itself, no longer is WOTC contributing to the growth of a myth..

    • It has now been approximately 2 1/2 months since the release of the final film in the Star Wars saga. While those of us do appreciate the web content available on the website, it is not enough of support for the rpg. I forget where I saw the announcement, but I remember it was announced that you had the rights to the Star Wars product line until the year 2018. To not have published material in the form of sourcebooks is in my opinion, a bad business decision.

    • Wizards, I believe with enough market research, you can revive this product line and make a good product. Utilize the success of the latest Star Wars movie, and the TV shows to come as your "carrier wave".

    • even though i prefer the D6 material, i have no choice but to play the D20 version since your company now has the rights to the game, and i love the star wars game, so do the books and not the minituares(yes, i know i spelled it wrong, so sue me).

    • Look, this isn't going to happen until the mini game starts to die down and aren't as profitable. Until then we might as well wait.

    • First, I'd like to say that I greatly appreciate the support WotC provides in the form of web content. Nevertheless, I would be very happy to see SWRPG sourcebooks produced again, even if they had to "share" a book with SW Minis "Ultimate Missions." I think a book that's half minis scenarios and half RPG content (feats, PrCs, characters, species, etc.) would be something that would be sustainable, wouldn't greatly increase cost, and would bring in a lot of new customers (RPG players) who currently don't buy Ultimate Missions books.
