  • As a graphic artist, my eyes are bleeding. Had I been given such a design from my staff it would have been rejected as being ambiguous and misrepresentative. As a Pens fan, I am so, so sorry - I feel for Sabres fans. As a fan of the NHL and tradition, please allow my signature of support.

  • I live in NC. Once the new logo was reveiled my sabres now have become the Buffalo BANANNAS due to the shape, color and ridiculous wasted space on the jerseys!

  • i WAS watching the opening game against the 'canes, until I saw the new Sabres logo. I was too embarrased to watch my beloved team sporting such a pitiful logo and had to turn the game off. does this say anything about the potential drop-off in sales of Sabres clothing, I wonder??? FIX THAT LOGO PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm not much of a hockey fan. I'm from the Bronx, New York. I usually follow baseball, football and college basketball. For the past couple of years I've found myself following the Sabres. The gutsy play and fast pace of the team as been admirable. As a potential new fan (customer), the only negative I see in the Buffalo Organization is the lack of stability when it comes to identity. The New York football Giants, New York Jets, Mets, and to a certain extent, the Bills have decided to update their image by reverting back to the teams roots. Much of the Yankees success have been attributed to keeping their image distinct and simple. It's understood that the NYC market is unlike the Buffalo region. But winning, not quirky new uniforms, breathes life to any organization. The Rangers, Islanders and Devils all had degrees of success and failure. But one thing that haven't changed much: their identity. Return to the originals. Fuse the Buffalo head w/origial colors for alt. jersey

  • To the logo designers - watch the drop in sales for Sabres gear. This is truly an abomination. Nice to see the old colors back, but for the love of God, please invest in a new logo - or go back to the old one. THROWBACKS ARE 'IN'! Please - give us a new logo and let US, the FANS, vote on it. You know, us, THE PEOPLE THAT PAY TO GO TO THE GAMES AND THE PEOPLE THAT BUY THE MERCHANDISE WHICH, ULTIMATELY, SUPPORTS THE PLAYERS' SALARIES.
