We the people of San Francisco want to send our children to schools in our local neighborhoods. The people living in certain areas should have first priority to send their kids to their neighborhood schools. It is not fair nor logical to allow people to choose schools anywhere in San Francisco, while our children are spending their precious academic time traveling to and from school on the other side of town every day.

    • Moving students away from their neighborhoods and places children in an uncomfortable environment, consequently reduces the effectiveness of student progression in academia. This unjust process of school selection will not only hurt the students academically but also mentally. Stress from a new environment and lack of friends within the new school is equivalent to metal abuse, which will lead to permanent emotional and social damage of our future leaders.
