This petition is for the removal of the playtv quiz show from TV3. They play on the boundaries of a scam, giving impossible puzzles that look straight forward, but have hidden objects that one would have one in a million chance of guessing.
e.g. A puzzle saying 1+1=? with a picture of a lady next to it. At the end of the night, after no one has guessed it, they would give an answer like 965, and no explaination or soloution - show ends.
Yet people continue to ring in with what they think is a straight forward answer, and are instantly out of pocket and left to feel like a fool.
I have lost all respect for TV3 for allowing this garbage on the air and will not view their programing for more than 5 seconds until I know this scam has been removed.
Please sign this petition if you feel as disgusted by TV3 as I do.

- What an absolutely disgusting programme?Saw it last night and the prize on offer was 32k for a match stick puzzle. Eventually the jackpot was transferred to another game but when the caller won this puzzle, the presenter told him he had won 1000euro and he didn't even complain! The show is TOTALLY rigged!

- tv3 have caught my unemployed ex girlfriend who is the mother of four children almost 40 on there scam of a show with the promise of easy money with the illuson of even easier questions, my look on it is they will keep getting away with it untill us people of the rep of ireland stand and fight again for our rights not just with these game shows but also with other aspects of the unfortunatley failing irish community, god bless and please excuse the spelling

- I won 2000 in one of their games. I received the cheque toda... But in spite of my good fortune, I cannot deny that the concept is intrinsically evil. And generally it preys on unsuspecting people who are not aware of how unfair many of the games are, and how few callers they will accept on air when a game is easy. You could call 120 times consecutively from 3 different phone lines in one night & still not be guaranteed to get thru to studio. (I know this from experience, unfortunately)

- Play Tv is a first class scam. They ask questions that seem extremely easy and possible; such as "name a common white food found in the kitchen." Many people rang in saying things such as "sugar," or "bread," and even "ice-cream." The presenter kept saying "go into your kitchen and you will find it! I know you will all have this in your house..." the answer was Gelenton Powder. Thats not even a food.
